A blog is like an internet diary or journal.
This blog is for everyone in Year 6 to use and write about things that are happening in each class, in Year 6, in the whole school, in the local community or anywhere in the world!
Important information will be posted here, like letters, notices, homework, so look here if you are stuck at home at the weekend and you can’t complete your homework because you left the sheet in your tray in the classroom!
Mr Hatton’s Year 6 class last year — Oak Class — started blogging at St. Matthew’s Primary School. You can have a look at their blog by clicking the From tiny acorns… link in the sidebar on the right. Hopefully this blog for the whole of Year 6 will be just as successful this year.
When you add a comment to the blog you will be asked to enter your name and an e-mail address. Don’t worry … the e-mail address NEVER gets published on the blog. If you don’t have an e-mail address of your own, you can use your class e-mail address which is one of the following:
- eagles@stmatthews.primaryluton.co.uk
- oak@stmatthews.primaryluton.co.uk
- wolves@stmatthews.primaryluton.co.uk
All comments are checked before they appear on the blog. If you are writing about things that have happened at school, use first names only, and never put personal details in your comments such as addresses and phone numbers. As in the classroom, no unpleasant comments about other people should be posted.
